Design Engineer
Design Engineer (Flushing, NY) Design and dev. switch-mode power supplies and their integration into existing power supply systems. Conceptualize and design switching power PCB. Produce production drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams to direct in fabrication of equipment. Design transformer and select modern power signal components including, MOSFETs, IGBTs, Schottky and fast recovery diodes, operational amplifiers, capacitors, comparators, inductors, analog control, Pulse Width Modulation, current and voltage mode control; Power Factor Correction control; power supply supervisory; monitor circuits; and isolated feedback generators, as well as, digital control circuits design. Must have experience in designing single and multiple output isolated switchmode power supplies in the power range from 100 watts to 1000 watts, including design, development and evaluation of related topologies such as Flyback, forward, full bridge and half bridge. Computer literacy Pspice and AutoCAD for designing circuitry and simulation required. Must have BS in Electrical or Electronics Eng. plus 5 years experience in job offered.
