Kepco's Single Address, Multiple Instrument System

In any system where multiple power supplies are daisy chained together and are to be linked to an IEEE 488.2 controller, there should be only one interface. If more than one MBT power supply has a "G"-option in the system, all but one "G"-option should be switched off. A switch is provided for this purpose.

MBT's "G"-option consists of a single board controller that uses a microprocessor to handle two way translation between IEEE 488.2 and the Kepco serial bus in a manner that is transparent to users. Commands are issued and responses obtained exactly as if each model on the daisy chain were individually connected to the IEEE 488.2 bus.
