Open Frame Series RKW

The RKW Open Frame series (30, 50, 100, 150-watt sizes) are convection cooled L-chassis construction. These models are RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, industrial-grade, single-output power supplies which provide d-c outputs from 3.3 volts to 48 volts from a-c mains 85-265V a-c with (except for the 30-watt Open Frame models) power factor correction (PFC) to reduce harmonic corruption of the a-c mains. All models feature overvoltage and overcurrent protection and, except for the 30W models, remote error sensing.

1 Year Warranty The RKW Open Frame Series have been certified by EPRI PEACs PQ Star program as SEMI F47 compliant (see Certification). All models conform to EN 60950 following the provisions of the Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC for the CE mark. Conducted EMI is suppressed to FCC Class B, VCCI Class B, EN 55011-B, and EN 55022-B. The RKW Open Frame models meet the radiated noise limits of FCC class B and EN 55022 class B.

The RKW Open Frame Series can be mounted in a 19-inch rack using Kepco's RA 40 Rack Adapter and RAB 39-40RKW6 mounting brackets, or mounted on a DIN Rail. Optional covers are available for each size:

Cover for RKW 30W: CA 33-R
Cover for RKW 50W: CA 34-R
Cover for RKW 100W: CA 35-R
Cover for RKW 150W: CA 36-R

All RKW Open Frame modules are suitable as DC-DC converters, however note that Safety Agency approvals are valid only for a-c input. DC input voltage range for RKW Open Frame models is 110V - 370V d-c.

RKW Open Frame models can be mixed with your choice of Kepco modular power supplies (e.g., RKW open frame, RKW programmable, RTW, RKE, JBW, HSM, RCW) and packaged in one of our standard rack adapters for a custom power solution you design yourself. Or, if you chose, give us your specs and we'll design it for you.

RKW Open Frame are CE Marked per the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), EN60950.
