Kepco's telecom rectifiers include Series HSP/HSM, HSF, PRR, PRM, and TBC. Series RAX, RCW, RKW and FAW are somewhat more generic but may also be used as telecom rectifiers. Series ERD models, while not telecom rectifiers in the normal use of the phrase, are often used in conjunction with off-line power supplies.
HSP and
HSM
Kepco's HSP and HSM series of switch mode power supplies each comprise a group of ten models, seven 1000 watt power
supplies with outputs from 3.3 volts to 48 volts and three 1500 watt power
supplies with outputs from 24 volts to 48 volts. Series HSP are plug-in modules, while HSM are bolt-down modules.
All models feature PFC. HSP feature
current-sharing for parallel redundant N+1 operation; models with the or-ing
diode, option R, are capable of hot swapping when plugged into Kepco¹s RA 60
series rack adapter. Output voltage and
current limit settings are adjustable from the panel (HSP only) and may be remotely
adjusted.
Wide range input (1000W): 90-277V a-c/125-420V d-c; (1500W): 180-277V a-c/250-420V d-c.
Output voltages (1000W): 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 28V and 48V; (1500W): 24V, 28V and 48V.

The Kepco HSF series of 50W, 100W, 150W and 350W switch mode, hot-swappable, plug-in, power supplies are designed to be combined in an N+1 fault-tolerant power system. Built-in forced current sharing and or-ing diodes are provided for this purpose.
Wide range input: 95-264V a-c/125-370V d-c.
Output voltages: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 28V and 48V.

PRM
Kepco's PRR (1000 watts) and PRM (60, 120, 180, 280, 300, and 450 watts) telecom rectifiers are ferroresonant voltage stabilizers. Ferroresonant stabilizing provides extraordinary isolation from source noise. It is inherently short-circuit proof and cannot expose delicate loads to overvoltage hazards. Hence no crowbar, fuses, or bounding circuits are needed. PRR are rack mounted, PRM are modular. Input is 115V a-c, 60Hz Nominal (for 230V a-c, 50Hz operation, consult factory). |

TBC
Kepco's TBC are designed as battery chargers, for float-equalize service to maintain battery arrays such as are found in many telecommunication installations utizing the built-in Float-Equalize selector with timer. The 300W, 600W, 1500W and 3000W TBC models are fully filtered and stabilized battery eliminators that also find application as burn-in power supplies. Either rack or wall mount is available.
Input is 115/230V a-c, 1500 and 3000W models are available with 230V a-c only.

RKW Programmable
The Programmable-Series RKW are industrial-grade single-output switch mode power supplies in the 300, 600 and 1500-watt sizes. These switchers provide programmable d-c outputs from 3.3 to 48 Volts from a-c mains 85-264 Volts with power factor correction (PFC).
Conducted and radiated emissions are suppressed to meet FCC Class B, VCCI Class B, EN 55011-B and EN 55022-B limits (1500W models require an external AC filter; without this filter, the 1500W models meet all Class A standards for conducted and radiated emissions). The RKW also feature a remote on-off, remote voltage control from zero to maximum rated output voltage, and a current balance terminal for easy parallel operation.

RKW Open Frame
The RKW Open Frame series (30, 50, 100, 150-watt sizes) are convection cooled L-chassis construction. These models are industrial-grade single-output power supplies which provide d-c outputs from 3.3 volts to 48 volts from a-c mains 85-265V a-c with (except for the 30-watt Open Frame models) power factor correction (PFC) to reduce harmonic corruption of the a-c mains. All models feature overvoltage and overcurrent protection and, except for the 30W models, remote error sensing.
